Sweden is proud to be the host country for WorldSkills Competition 2022 Special Edition, and Visual Merchandising as a competitive profession. Here you will find all the information you need regarding the competition, time schedule, material, contact info, etc.

Schedule

  • Opening ceremony: 13 October, 18:00
  • Day 1: 14 October, 09:00 — 16:00
  • Day 2: 15 October, 09:00 — 16:00
  • Day 3: 16 October, 09:00 — 16:00
  • Day 4: 17 October, 09:00 — 12:00
  • Closing ceremony: 18 October, 18:00

Information

There will be a room available marked for media, and there will be WiFi-access over the entire area. You will not be able to lock up your equipment on site.

  • Media room location and Competition Venue: Kista Galleria Hanstavägen 55 F, 164 53 Kista (Media room is next to the competition area)
  • Wi-FI code:
    • SSID: WS2022 GUEST 
    • Password: WorldSkills2022
  • Tickets: Tickets are not necessary for the general public.

Interview and visual material

Photo and video assistance will be available on-site, and we will also be available to take orders on interviews and photos.

Code of Conduct – Media

  • All press is subject to the WorldSkills Code of Ethics and Conduct, as well as the competition rules
  • Photographing or filming a competitor should not interfere with or hinder the performance of the competitor in the competition
  • Press may take photos and film from outside the workshop area without any prior approval
  • No press can enter a workshop area during the competition without the permission of the Chief Expert or Press Contact
  • No press can speak with a competitor during the workshop session without the permission of the Chief Expert or Press Contact
  • No press is to enter the competitor’s personal workspace without the permission of the Chief Expert or Press Contact
