Five skill competitions will take place this week in four European locations.
Welcome back to WorldSkills Competition 2022 Special Edition What’s ON. This is issue #6 of our weekly updates, looking at the events that will take place from 31 October to 6 November.
Five skill competitions will take place this week in four European locations. Then a short break before the WorldSkills community gathers again in Salzburg, Austria for the last of the 29 events of the 46th WorldSkills Competition. Together – Hosts, Members, Partners, Experts, and Competitors – we are showing that skills change worlds.
ON this week:
- Two events will take place in Wales, United Kingdom from 1 to 4 November 2022. The International Centre for Aerospace Training (ICAT) in Cardiff will host Aircraft Maintenance. Simultaneously, Manufacturing Team Challenge will be held at Bersham Road, Coleg Cambria, Wrexham.
- Plumbing and Heating will take place at the Grohe production site and training centre in Lahr, Germany from 2 to 4 November. As part of the event, IAPMO, World Plumbing Council, and IWSH are organizing a training and industry capacity-building project for a group of Ukrainian plumbing students.
- Painters and decorators, as well as tilers, will be hands-on from 3 to 6 November at FieraMesse Exhibition Centre in Bolzano, South Tyrol, Italy.
