What's ON #9: WorldSkills Competition 2022 Special Edition

The 46th WorldSkills Competition concludes this week with the Messezentrum Salzburg in Austria hosting seven skill competitions alongside Austria’s major career fair.

Welcome back WorldSkills global community! This is issue #9 of WorldSkills Competition 2022 Special Edition What’s ON weekly updates.

We’ve come a long way since Prototype Modelling officially launched in September in Bern, Switzerland. Twelve weeks, 1,000 Competitors, 15 countries and regions, and 26 cities later, the 46th WorldSkills Competition concludes this week.

From 24 to 26 November, the Messezentrum Salzburg in Austria will host seven skill competitions in 10,000㎡ of competition space alongside Austria’s major career fair, BIM BerufsInfo-Messe. Find out more about the event in Austria

The event will end with a special Closing Ceremony on 27 November. As with many elements of WorldSkills Competition 2022 Special Edition, the ceremonies have taken on new meaning as WorldSkills Champions take centre stage. WorldSkills Champions Trust Representative Jacqueline Tanzer will be responsible for handing over the flag on behalf of all 15 Host countries and regions to WorldSkills Lyon 2024. Watch the Closing Ceremony live on YouTube at 15.00 GMT on 27 November.
